Worship Services

Every Sunday we worship together at 9:30am.

All are welcome!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We are an informal, welcoming church with a lot of laughter and conversation and just the right amount of ritual and ceremony. Most people dress informally, but you can wear whatever makes you comfortable!

HOW THE SERVICE GOES:

The service starts with a welcome and announcements, then a land acknowledgment to the Suquamish tribe whose land on which we reside. Then we pause for a contemplative moment with music. (We sing.) We pray together, we share the sign of peace, and we hear scripture. (We sing.) Then our pastor shares a good word with us. (We sing.) After that we share our thoughts and personal concerns. (We sing.) We continue to pray for one another and the world. And we pass the basket to donate to our shared efforts to create the world we seek. (We sing.) The pastor gives us a blessing. And usually, we sing again! (It's kinda our favorite part.)

SUNDAY SCHOOL:

Before the scripture, the children are invited to join our Sunday School teacher to leave the service and have their our age-appropriate scripture study in the Sunday School room, which is just off the fellowship hall. This usually involves crayons, toys, songs, and lots of fun!

COMMUNION:

On the first Sunday of the month we lay the communion table. We have gluten free communion bread and grape juice and everyone is welcome to the table. It is a joyous and sacred ritual that we treasure.

We hope you will join us!
